Jesus Our Lord

As things continue to get worse all around us, economically, socially and politically, one thing is being revealed beyond a shadow of a doubt—fallen humanity is incapable of running the world. World leaders are proving this right now as they have things in an absolute mess.

There is only one who is fit to rule the world, and His name is Jesus.

In this dispensation, Jesus has chosen to step back and allow people space to choose who they will serve. However, soon this age will give way to a time when Jesus returns to rule and reign as King.

I want to encourage you today that Jesus loves His people and is always working on our behalf. Don’t take the fact that He is invisible to mean He is uninterested or uninvolved. End-time events must play out the way the scriptures have predicted, but during these troubling times, the Good Shepherd is here providing and protecting us through it all.

In John 14:1, Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”

Let’s take a moment to focus on Him, to “believe also in Him.” Jesus is Lord—the supreme authority. He is in fact, King of all kings and Lord of all lords. His power has not been diminished and His arm has not been shortened. He is ever watching over us, diligently providing for us, meeting our needs, protecting our lives and empowering us to do His will on the earth. All is not lost as long as Jesus is Lord, and He is Lord forever and ever.

There is no one like Jesus! Because of what He has done through His death, burial and resurrection, …God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. —Philippians 2:9-11

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. —Colossians 1:16-17

The whole world owes its very existence to Jesus.

He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. —1 Timothy 6:17

This same Jesus is watching over His people today and has made His power and resources available to the Church through His name.

Because of what Jesus has done, there is coming a day when God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” — Revelation 21:4

Jesus is our Lord and Savior, our shepherd, our captain, our leader, our provider and protector. Jesus is our all in all, and because He is, you have a right to live and love and finish your course with joy. The world will soon be a very different place!

But until then, remember that Jesus is Lord, and nothing and no one will ever change that!

The teachings Greg Fritz puts together and delivers are so balanced and powerful. I listen with confidence to know these are the truths of the Bible. I grew up in the Orthodox faith which I embraced and it is a loving community of believers. I was immediately inspired when God led me to Greg’s teachings of how much of the gospel is left out during a service. When our Sunday service had the reading from the gospel it was a short amount compared to the other portions of the service. I’m not proficient in how services are set up nor do I have that knowledge. What I do know is how hungry for the gospel and its truths I was and still am. I listen daily to many teachings and have heard other Charis Bible teachers as well. I learned about the New Testament true meaning and realized how many churches are mixing both old and new. Things like music, movies and other secular world genres have lost their flavour significantly and I always thought I was a good Christian. I am one who God has blessed me with an ability to write/articulate though my growth spiritually is difficult to put succinctly on paper or online. It is life changing and I am so grateful to God for leading me here. Through many life challenges these last few years He has shown me the strength, courage, direction, hope through His unfailing love. And by His grace and mercy. May His word become and overcome the word of this fallen world to lead us to the gifts and promises of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.🙏🏼💕
