If healing is not God’s will for all, then how are we to know who can be healed? How is it possible to pray the prayer of faith for healing without doubting?
I want to answer just one question: Is healing God’s will for all?
To have a solid foundation for divine healing in your life and the lives of others, all doubt must be removed that divine healing is the will of God.
“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.” —James 1:6-7 (NKJV)
How could you be saved unless you believed it was God’s will for you?
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the Sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” —Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV)
The Message Bible of this same verse reads:
“So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.” (MSG)
God’s Word will do the work He sent it to do! Let the healing Word work in you.
Would you visit a doctor who only wanted some of his patients to get better or prescribed disease to increase their character? This thinking has driven people from God.
God is not the author of sickness. Every good and perfect gift comes down from God—including healing. God wants people well. His will is divine health, not occasionally getting sick and then getting healed.
Here are just a few scriptures that prove God’s will is divine health:
“…I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”—Exodus 15:26 (KJV)
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” —Psalm 107:20 (NKJV)
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” —3 John 1:2 (KJV)
“…and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” —Exodus 23:25 (KJV)
“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.” —Matthew 4:23 (KJV)
“No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.” —Psalm 91:10 (KJV)
Healing is God’s will for every person!
People come up with all kinds of objections to this doctrine, such as:
- I know someone who loves God, and they’re sick.
- I have symptoms in my body.
- I’ve prayed for healing, and nothing happened.
- I know people who were more holy than I am, and they died of sickness or disease.
It doesn’t matter what it looks like in the natural; healing is God’s will, and it’s your right as a believer. Jesus paid for your healing at Calvary as much as He paid for your forgiveness and salvation. It’s part of your redemption!
Believe it and receive it today!
I have accepted the Lord’s promise of healing and the doctor recently told me that he expects I will be free from future hospitalizations from a severe disease which has plagued me for decades.
Thank you for this encouragement exclamation all the scriptures provided a scriptures that I have spoken over myself and many more. After an accident, I saw the Lord heal my back. I was receiving no more pain. But about four months ago it seems it’s back. I’m not certain what’s happening. I have noticed an attack on my health. God‘s word has made it very clear by his stripes I am healed by his wounds I’m healed. Already done I’m just uncertain how to get it into the physical. Thank you
Hi Cindy,
Resist the pain & symptoms and tell them to go in Jesus’ name. They’re lying symptoms and the bible says God’s Word does not return to Him void. You’re already healed.
